Click the "Add New Note" button on the Notes page or your dashboard to create a draft note. You can then edit it to add rich content and attachments on the separate edit screen.
Go to the Notes section (Knowledge - Notes in the left navigation), or find the Notes table on your dashboard. Click the **Add New Note** button. A small form opens where you enter:
- Title (required): what the note is about, shown in lists and search results.
- Summary (optional): a short description shown in search results and previews.
- Status: whether this is a new draft, something you are actively editing, or needs more work.
Click Save Note and the note is created. You can then open it to add rich text content, attach files, add tasklets, share it with a group, and so on.
To create a sub-note (a note nested under another), open the parent note and use the same Add New Note button from there - the new note will be created as a child of the one you are viewing.
